My perfect Sunday always involve sleeping in and cuddle with my puffy pillows and blanket and enjoy homemade brunch while watching Sunday Football. I also enjoy making food and dessert for the work week. My fave thing to end the Sunday blue is watching my fave shows on TV or DVD/Netflix while sipping my redwine. Too bad I can only have one Sunday at a time :D

I don't know why I have to wait until January 1st to start, fix or reinvent myself. I am determine to reach all list of to do list for 2012 because I am getting older and wiser everyday. I am also blessed and fortunate enough to have great friends and family in my life. Let's the new year and new start begins!!

In 2011 I got promoted, make more money, got my first place and make more friends I could imagine. I also took a trip to beautiful Dominican Republic and I had a blast. I also made a fixable mistake and let someone into my life that doesn't appreciate me as much as he should. I gave him too many benefit of the doubts but it is not going to change the way things are. I am moving on and will start a new journey and can't wait to see what or who is waiting for me.

I want to list one thing that I would like to accomplish here and I want to be as specific as possible. I also would like to list all the ideas and tips that I have so I can stay on track to reach each and every single goal that I have.

It has been over a year that I skipped hair conditioner after washing my hair. It got a really short hair last year so I skip the conditioner so my hair is not oily or limpy. I finally realize that little goes a long way and I should use conditioner on my hair no matter what. I have tried several brands and I finally have to say Herbal Essense has the best shampoo and condition. They look pretty in and outside the bottle and smell ohhh soooo good!

I have been going out more than I should. I would say every weekends I have something going on. Most of the time it involves dancing, nite out and booze...Am I too old for this? Maybe or maybe not... Last nite was a great nite for a team outing. It was at Yankee Doodle on 3rd Street Santa Monica. I love that there weren't many people and the place is huge! We played pool, games and just boozing up! We ended up going somewhere else after and then hit Denny's up! Great fun nite!

This time is right here in long beach. R's BD and it is his time turning 27. Sa invited me to Rica's bd right here in Long Beach. We headed to his place in Belmont Shore and did some fun quarter games and took mass amount of strong jello shots with Vodka arr then we walked to Belmont Stations and dance our buns to some ok music. Its Valentine's day today and I am so glad that I don't have to work. Me and my special man will be having a nice dinner at Thai/Japanese fusion restaurant right here in LBC and will catch a late nite movie for our typical saturday. We were supposed to go to SF and stay out of LA since we have a long 3 days weekend but we decided to cancel the trip at the last minute to save some money and enjoy ourselves in town.

Last night I went to a friend's bd party in Hollywood at the Blue Monkey Lounge on Western and Hollywood Blvd. It was raining and cold but we made it all right. Me and my friends danced and drank ourselves silly all night. Wow I am too old for this!

Its about that time that the weather seem to get warmer and the rain is over here in California. My friend's bd is here and she invited us to have a nice dinner in Santa Monica. Wokcano is the name of the place. It is an asian fusion restaurant. They have japanese, Thai and Chinese dishes that you can and eat your heart out. The food are good and at a reasonable price. I am so excited that they are opening one in Long Beach. Arrhhh I love shrimp rolls with my iced cold Sapparo.

After the dinner we headed out to Mood in Hollywood. Thanks to a friend's friend's hook up. We did not have to wait and pay for the entrance. It is a plus especially the drink will cost us as much as one month rent. The music was ok, the drink was strong and the crowd is less than impressive but we are cool so I had a blast!!!

Watching Nang Nak last night I just have to say I hate ghost story. This movie is about a heartbreaking supernatural love story which supposedly based on a famous Thai ghost tale (which i heard that it was a true...story...hmm). The story goes like this...Married couple Mak and Nak are torn apart by war when Mak(husband) has to leave for cilvil war but eventually they reunited again. Mak discovers that Nak gave birth to their son while he was at war. There's something strange about his wife and child though...now you have to rent a movie and watch it. It is pretty creepy toward the end but I promise you that you will be able to sleep at night after watching this movie. Its not that bad compare to body #19...

Anywho I am feeling great after did my 30 mins on the trendmill and feeling less hungry than usual. I decided to watching Fox News tonight (yea i know right) and uploaded some of the pictures that i love from my archives which reminds of how much I love to travel...next is NYC..I love you NY!

Spent weekend doing something productive was on my top agenda this past weekend. Cleaning out my closet and helping my boyfriend master his wishes to become trilingual was funner than I though. Also went to the library and borrowed some old cds, dvds and books that I want to spend time on. I decided that since he is trying to learn Thai, I will try to learn Spanish..that's trade off pretty strangely well. We also went to Melrose Posting Marketing on Sunday to check out a venue that I am interested to rent a spot to sell my merchandises during Spring and Summer. It was a pretty nice and production weekend after all and I have to admit that I actually like it. Here are the list of what I got from the library across street from my house. This is going to be my second time donating my hair to Locks of Love Org in FL. I usually got a hair cut every two years just because I can grow my hair real long and cut it real short so that I can donate my hair to this great organization which will use my hair to make wigs for children that lost their hair because of diseases and cancer!!!!!! I know I will look like a boy with short hair but I am feeling great that by looking like a boy, I am helping and making a pretty little girl somewhere on this Earth feeling like a little princess. I have been away from LA and went back to visit my family and friends in Thailand. To be honest, I did not want it to end and come back to the US!!. I had such a great time and can't wait to see them again. My next trip is NYC in May with my girls and I am sure I will have a blast also.

This trip also gave me many things to think about. This trip gave me to think about me, my family and the future. I can't wait to accomplish goals that I set up after this trip and goal for 2009. One of them is to get working on my accessories line Tasp Project that I have been abandon for several months now. I am now back and getting more creative than ever and totally excited about this old/new project.

I was so bored by the time my bf got home from visiting his family in North HO. I decided that I want to go to the mall (yes me going to the mall!) and see if I can find something I like there since I am feeling pretty confident today. We stopped by the mall right by my old place in Torrance. Stopped at Urban, Forever21 and Macy's. Oh boy oh boy!!! I got a top from forever21 that I have been looking and wanting for over 2 weeks now. I tried them on and decided that I should buy a top and I got it!

I went to Urban and I found some sales items that I can say no too..there are so many cute stuffs but I decided that since I just bought a pair of killerz shoes from topshop.com, I will keep these minimal! I got a classic tweed hat, a scarf and a cute hair clip for the price of $27 total. Oh i have sales!

I did it. I purchase the most expensive shoes I have ever spend in my whole life. I just bought a pair of shoes for $90 (free shipping and tax!! Hooley to the internet) from Topshop.com US store (I also am getting a free tshirt for charity from Kate Moss design along with my order which is not bad at all!) today. I look and look and look and I stare at the shoes for about 3 hrs to be exact. I decided that hell with this. I am doing great with working hard and getting in shape and I already put money in my saving account from my first payment already. I did it.. I never spend more than $20 on the shoes but this shoes are just too cute and too me.

I am super tired today and craving for something sweet all day. My sweetie baked orange zest cheese cake over the weekend and I have been thinking about it all morning. I will definetly have a small piece when I get home tonight. I have been on no dinner diet for about a week now. I lost about 2 lbs. I am telling myself this is not bad at all. I am planning to lose about 40 lbs by the end of this year… not that is 20 weeks or 5 months. And let’s the count down begins!

I went to Starbucks and spent about 15 mins of short break (15 mins) there waiting for my iced mocha. I can’t complain since I was the one who decided to go there instead of getting and iced coffee in the Café down stair. According to WSJ, Starbucks sales down about 5% this Summer due to recession and lower consumer spending level and higher unemployed rate. They gave me a little coupon that if I go back there today before closing and I will get $2 + tax for any Grande drink. Yippey!
I checked out Nylong Mag online and I saw this cute article about Michelle Williams. She is modeling for Band of Outsiders along with cool kids like Jason Schwartzman and my love Zooey Deschanel. Hip clothes, hip shots, hip Michelle.

Movie Time

I finally had time to watch all these movies that I got from Netflix over past weekend. They are all great fun and I would personally recommend these movie to everybody.

Penelope...Let's see where should I start! I love this cute/fairy tale movie so much! It is a little modern fairy tale film that full of color, great scence, soundtrack and James McAvoy. It is a story about a girl whose got a pig nose curse which passed along from her great great great grandfather . She (more like her mother) looks for real love (with blue blooded hottie) that will help her break the curse and make the cute piggy nose disappear. She finally founds real love with a boy who loves her for who she is (hottie James Macavoy oh la la) but doesn't have what she needs. (blue blooded or money). I don't want to ruin the ending so please watch the movie. The ending of the song was one of my ave songs of all time by Sigur Ros, Hoppipolla. Adding to the cute storyline, the movie filmed in London and all the details from props, costume, music and scene compliment the ideas of the movie, Modern Fables.

Next movie is Kamikaze Girl. Japanese movie about odd friendship between Yaki girl, Ichigo (Anna Tsuchiya) and Lolita girl, Momoko (Kyoko Fukada). The movie focus on each character and who they are and what they like and why they are the way they are. It shows a special bonds between two different character who grew up in differnt environment and who decided and made their own path and faith. It is very imaginative and cartooney. If you don't mind reading subtitle, check it out. It will make you smile and laugh and think about your childhood and old friends.

Next movie is a french animation Persepolis which is based on Marjane Satrapi's autobiographical graphic novel. It is a coming of age story about iranian revolution, war, way of life of iranian in those time. It is a great film that will educate you and change the way you think about countries that seem to be in war forever. It changes the perception about these countries.

Blue Friday

I was at work yesterday and right around 4 pm, I looked outside the window and was so relief that I was not one of the commuter on the infamous 405 Freeway. Both South and North route are dead stuck!!

Me and K ordered some items from Forever21.com and I ended up spend about $70 with a dress, a pair of shoes, two hair accessories and a top. I can't wait to get them and try them on!

New Book to read over the weekend

I have two things to do over the weekend. One is to study for GMAT Test and two to start on new book that i got for free from Barns and Noble, Wonder Spot by Melissa Bank. I am debating which one should I go first....Heck I will start reading Wonder Spot for tonight. Will study for 2 hrs tomorrow.

I am going to see Batman: The Dark Knight tomorrow with my cutie at IMAX theatre. Thanks to Daria for selling her tickets to me. I can't wait!!

Fall is coming soon and I am ready for newer and nicer facial cream and serum. I ordered and just received Dr. John and Serum from Benefits at work yesterday. I was so excited and eager to open the package and try them on my skin at work. I took a short and went to the restroom at work and begin to apply some on my bare face. I really like the smell and the texture of both producta and I can see the different on my skin texture over night. I am a happy camper!

I got pay earlier this week and I have been spending money like nobody business but my own. I ordered a cute little blue dress from urbanoutfitters with my friend for the wedding that I went last weekend. I thought the wedding is this coming weekend but actually it was last weekend and I almost missed it!. The dress arrive today and I jumped with joy but when I went back to urban online shop, the dress is now $10 less than what I paid for!!! Anyways I am glad the dress is finally here.

I need to find a hobby. I really do. i feel like my life is about work , work and work and I have nothing to look forward too. I almost give up on my study since I am always tired and just want to sleep. I need cheap hobby.

I have been doing good on shopping less and eating out less. I decided that I will only shop once a month and I will only buy an item that I really really like and that I can wear them over and over again. Enough with cheap stuffs. Talking about hot summer items. I have been searching and looking for leather sandles. I saw some on polyvore and urbanoutfitters.com and I must say that they are more affordable than I expected. I really like the one on this image from polyvore. I am waiting for it to be on sales. Call me cheapie. I am proud of it!

Moving is almost here!

I have been busy packing and cleaning my apartment for the last week since we are moving to a new place not far from the old one. I am very excited since they place is super nice and bigger and the most important they have assigned parking for us. It is pretty tough living in Long Beach with 2 cars and have no assigned parking. I got over 5 parking tickets over the last 3 years and I have to park in red zone if I get home after 8 pm and have to get up around 5 am in the morning to move my car before getting a parking ticket. I can’t believe I have been putting up with this for a while and it nice to know that this issue will be end soon!

I also have been busy looking at decorating pictures on many website. I am thinking about painting the wall bright color. I found some of the ideas from the following pictures

It has been a long week last week and short weekend for me. We went to see his friend at the Race in Fontana on Sunday and went to celebrate Mothers Day with his mom and his sister.

We went out to Koraoke Bar in K-town and stayed up till 3am. We are so tired the next day but has to get up early to visit new apartment that we are looking to nail and move in. The place is a amazing and we fell in love right away. The rent is kind of steep (double of what we are paying) but it comes with parking, pool and all amenities one person can ask for. We are moving in closer to the end of this month! I honestly can't wait.

These day all I care about it home decorating. We promise that we will be throwing lots of things away that we dont need. I am thinking about put them up for sales on Ebay.com. If time allow that is.

I got them all today! I am talking about 3 pair of shoes that I ordered on Target.com. They are so cute and comfortable. I can't believe that i spent only $47 for all 3 pairs. I love the power of internet shopping!

San Diego Trip

We decided to take a mini trip to San Diego to get away from LA and work for a bit. We stayed at our usual Best Western Beach View Lodge in Carlsbad and had a great Friday night having bar foods and enjoying beer at this outdoor diner right by the beach and watch the Sun Set. We then went back to the hotel and stayed in hot tub for a bit. After that we walked to the town center and enjoyed outdoor jazz music along with hot cocoa and gossip magazine.

On Saturday we went to infamous San Diego Zoo and enjoy the company of cute and smelly animals. We had a great time there and got a little bit of sun burn. We also stopped by Carlsbad Outlet on the way back to the hotel. I did not find anything that I like except these purplish MAC lip gloss and eye shadow. I think I will be using them more often than I thought. For dinner we went to Cuban restaurant on 101 route call AZAFRAN. The food, the live music and the Sangria were great. We over estimated ourself and had left over food and could not even walk back to the car. It was sure a great dinner and we would go back there again.

Sunday night we got up early and headed out to Downtown San Diego Gas lamp District and watched RED BULL air race show right by San Diego Bay. It was a chilly day and the Sun seem to be hiding behind the cloud all day. We left the race at around 3 and had lunch right in downtown San diego at Maryjane's cafe and then we headed back to LA. When we got home, our bunny jumped with joy! we miss him a whole bunch!

I have been working with the same company for about a year and several months and I remember that our dress code is business casual. I panicked and decided to dress a little bit more professional. I have closet full of casual clothes but I don't even own one matching suit. My goal for this month is to own one...shopping time is coming up!

I wore this outfit to work the other day. I think it is kind of trendy casual....my coworkers said it looks business casual enough for work.what do you think?

I watched Sex in the City last night and it reminded me of how much I want to move to NYC. OH NY NY!
I just won this really cute gray ZARA boots on Ebay.com the other day. I work up at 8 AM on sunday morning to participate in the bid. It went smoothly until last min someone outbid me. I have to act quick (and thank you to my babe's fast acting laptop) I won the bid by 1 dollar! I am a lucky girl and I can't wait to wear them!

Since it has been so hot lately, me and my bf decided to stay home and go to the mall to take advantage of free air conditioner this weekend. I decided to do some shopping online. We are getting a tax release money in about a week or so (I should get about $600), we decided we will be good citizens and spend some money.

I order these really cute shoes from Target.com and they are all on sale. I went to the store itself and tried on some of them to make sure the size is right. Come to my surpise..I am a size 8 1/2 and not 8!! Target has a very great return policy though, so I am worry about not fitting into them. They are offering free shipping right now if you spend $50 on certain dept. With coupon and free shipping and plus taxes, my total comes out to $49. Yippy!

Summer is here?

I hate Summer and this weekend is one hell of a weekend. Santa Ana wind blew over Los Angeles (and Long Beach) all weekend and I am melting. It has been so hot since Thursday and I just been drinking water and taking a shower 2 times a day (I know and I hate doing this since I am wasting water but If not I am going to jump of the building!!).

Since this weekend is so hot, I decided to use my new H&M black skirt as a dress and show of my cute leopard cami or and also my new pimp hat and new belt! Sorry for the blurry picture. I did it on purpose.

It has been over 4 months that I feel inspire to sit down and make some assories for Tasp Project store. This weekend is finally is the weekend that I feel obligate to sit down and make something happen. Tada!! I made two new earrings to add to my store. I would call it polka dots of the Summer 2008. Like them?

I also just got his hat in the mail yesterday. I order it on URBN.com and I also order another hat in brown in different style. I am a hat freak and I can't help it. I stop going crazy on purses and bags about 2 years ago and now I am into shoes and hat...I am a trouble soul...

Warm Weekend

This weekend is the warmest weekend ever! Me and Spuddy are melting at slowly pace. We woke up early and ran and errands today. I got home in the afternoon and have I decided to detour a little and finish my unfinished project. Me and Spuddy got on our butts and paint the vintage mirrror that I got from thrift store a couple of weeks ago. We finished it in 1 hr. Great job Spuddy. I also cleaning my shoes closet and finally have a chance to look at my new pair of shoes that I got from H&M several weeks ago. They are oh so lovely! I was skeptical at first about buying shoes from H&M but I was wrong. They are so comfy and lovely.

Sunday is finally here but i got lots of things done over the weekend. I finally did my tax and to my relief, I will get some money back (I thought I was going to owe uncle Sam something this year). I did some shopping over the weekend and watch No Country for Old Men last night. The movie is amazing. I just love every shots, characters and scenes. I know Cohen brothers will never let me down. My fave of all time still is Fargo but this movie is right up there. I wish I could have watched it earlier when it was still in the theatre but I hate going to pubic theatre. I rather enjoy my movie in my own home with my kettle corn and have my babe and bunny right next to me.

I did a little thift shopping for home yesterday and I found this plate mat from this vintage store right by my house. Its totally rockabilly. I love it!

I also found this Bollywood bag in my closet. I got it a couple years ago while i was in London..I am using it to store my WSJ that pile up in my apt. Its look so cute plus it make my apt more organize. I am considering hire a maid once a month to clean my one bedroom apt. I know I sound pitiful but I hardly have time to breath!

I am currently looking to buybidding faux fur collar/scarf. I know its sound crazy to buy it now since summer is right around the corner but i just have to have it for fall. Fashion is never too early!

Weekend is finally here

I am so excited and has been waiting for weekend to arrive since monday. Lately I have been burned out from work and classes and just want to sleep and do nothing all day. I think i will never get used to working until 8 pm every night. tonight is a movie night in with my babe and we will be watching Harold and Maude and munching on something yummy (turkey with melted swiss chess sound yummy) and a bottle of red wine. I have a busy weekend waiting with homework, visiting friends and new project (painting vintage mirror) in line...soon enough monday will be here for me!

Fashion Life

Spring fashion is already here and I look another way. I used to love bright pink or bright blue and spring/summer fashion but lately I have been wearing darker color(since i am getting older and older!) most of my outfit are either brown, dark blue or black. Over the weekend I went shopping with a friend and on 4th street and South Coast Plaza and I ended up with 2 pieces. One is brown tank top and black cowgirl skirt and both are from H&M. I also found this black boots which is from this 2nd hand store on 4th street right by my house for $42. I will go back and grab it! It will look so nice with my new cowgirl skirt.
I just got this cute purse from URBN.com over the weekend. I got them in brown and beight. It is cuter than the black on they have online right now..

Vacation time

I have been working really late and have homework and study to catch up lately. It has been such a busy month and I have not filed my tax yet. After all the things that I need to finish are done, I will take a short vacation before my main trip at the end of this year( I am going to fab thailand).
