But yea i am glad that my bestfriend is here in town. We have been hitting the town together and it feels right because we have known each other for so long. We always have fun together no matter what and that's a good thing.
Yesterday was a lovely day. I finally have a saturday off after 5 years of working on the weekend..I work up late since the night before we went to the Project:Untitled art show in LA. I work up around 11 am and just chill and had breakfast. We went to Downtown Long Beach since one of my friends told me that there is an artwork today but he was wrong! it was next week. Too late for us we walked all over town and got a really cool/creepy old picture from this junk yard sale for like a buck! We already have it on the wall already. :D
The little girl looks pretty scary..bloddy cheek and all but all in one..it's beautiful piece and we are proud of it very much.
We went to Long Beach Musuem and spent the afternoon checking out the art..some are cool and some aren't..had some waffle and feel like a pig after. Got home and went to dinner at Seafood town in Torrance. It was damn awesome and we smell like food right after..damn.. Went to Six Space for Pilgrimage by Kozyndan the husband and wife work..really cute and really thoughtful. The picture that captured my braind is Walking tall and Capitalizing the cult of cute..which forced us to spend about 15 mins figuing it out what the message is...hurt my brain a bit there :D

The Capitalizing cult of cute

Walking Tall
Check out some more information about this exhibition that you should not miss at sixspace website . I promis you will leave the gallery smile..chekc out more about Kozyndan
Next we went to see the art work of the man himself...Richard Colman who we picked up the flyer at Project show on Friday. The crowd and the vibe was totally different than Kozyndan show...more dark, gothic and more mature and serious. Most of the audience are older and more "expert" but that doesn't mean that Kozyndan show is more lighthearted..These two shows are just different theme and different point of view toward lives. It think both show are awesome in their own ways and I am so happy that I made it to both show on the opening date and on the same night!!.
Richard Colman works are dark and really offensive to some people...so if you think you are pretty sensitive about sex and explicit art...beware..Check out more about Richard Colman here

Then after the art show we met up with J, R and J at the Star shoes in Hollywood. To by surprise I ran into my coworkers and friends there..that was pretty wild. I went in and the vibe was pretty chill..and funk..i mean i am no good for funk music but the place was just adorable..had a couple of drinks before we head to Beauty Bar which was great..the music was awesome (They play Blur and Bloc party! and all the old dancy stuffs by female dJ) Man that was fun...and gasp we saw some artists from friday show..it was a small world..hate it!
Well i woke up so late late today and did nothing much with my life. I guess i have to start doing something now before the night hit!
Monday already! :P wa!!!
