Personal Rants: Saturday late moring

This morning I woke up to the cellphone alarm clock. Last night I decided to use my dvd burner on my desktop at home to burn some movie for my boyfriend. The thing fail to work after 4 hrs of anticipation and patient. What do i have to do around here to get that thing work!!?

Back to this morning story. My boyfriend texted me and told me about his fortunate event on the bus. It was nice to hear his voice again after a week. He went shopping in Manchester and stayed over night there. Now I wonder where he stayed??

Music news

On the way to work I was listening to NPR new for this special edition of program. The singer that is on the show was Josh Roush and he was talking about this newest album that will come out in March of this year. The music was amazing and I can't believe I have never heard of him before. You bet i will go to Ameoba and buy his cd when it comes out.

My friends came over to my house last night right before they go to the tattoo parlor. I was already in my pj and ready to hit the bed (not) so I decided to turned them down and just offered them a couple of drinks. Tonight we might have some dinner and I will try to find some cool art show to go to. I usually use Daily Candy or flavorpill newsletter to see what is going on around town. I also use this art blog for all the art event around Los Angeles.

This is what we will probably end up going tonight

Art Reception in Wilshire

Subliminal Project never disappoint us. They have an opening reception tonight for Aesthetic Apparatus " A Poster Retrospective". The opening reception is tonight from 8 pm to 11 pm. I become the graphic design follow the last year or so and I have seen a lot of this group on many magazine, MTV2 and indie bands. If you want to take a look at some of the their works, go to their website and if you are in the LA aread, hit up the opening reception. Support the art :D

Another music news

Celebration

If you like the YYYS, TV on the radio and peaches but with softer voice and softer style, this might be the cd just for you.

The lead singer is pretty wild. I still think Karen O from the YYYS is more fun but I can totally see that this cd will catch me if I let it marinade for a while.

Talking about YYYS, they new album is coming out soon. I just can't wait to put my hand on that piece of good s*&t.
