There are so many awful things going on at the same time on this little place called Earth these days. War torn between Lebanon and Israel and now we have added more country to Who hates Americans? list. Over the weekend we found out that Mel Gibson is a true drunk bastard and Lindsy Lohan is a brat. What else can go wrong? Anything is possible I suppose.

Also don't forget to check out his new CD also. It is a little too sweet for me and I prefer his old stuffs but for now it is a great CD for a warm beach day.

Speaking of underrated, the Cardigans are coming to the US for a mini-tour, their first American tour in over two years. And considering their latest album Super Extra Gravity still has no domestic release scheduled, this may be your only chance to see them.

Travel: Melbourne, I love you

It has been over 10 years that I visited Melbourne, Australia. I had a fond memory of that country. I was a little over 15 years old and was confused and tried to be cool. It did not work but I had the best time of my life. Look back I wish I am more confident and more outgoing back then. Anyways, I want to go back and visit Australia again. My dream will come true or not that will depends on my today spending habit. I did really bad the last two weeks of July. Tomorrow is August and I am sure I will get a hold of my spending habit this time around. If I can keep up a good work for at least 4 weeks, I should be in a good shape before the end of the year. Let’s see shall we…

In case you didn't know, right now, at this second the Tribeca Film Festival is rolling along in downtown New York City. Watch the video interviews straight from the red carpet with the stars of upcoming, hot indie flick Fifty Pills, which includes Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars), Lou Taylor Pucci (Thumbsucker) and John Hensley (Nip/Tuck).

The plot? Darren (Pucci) has lost his college scholarship and is in love with a girl who could care less about him. Unless he can survive a teenage dominatrix, a drug mogul, convince his parents he's not gay, write a paper, and sell fifty pills of ecstasy in time to make his tuition payment - he's totally screwed. Glad it's not us.
