If you like Josh Rouse you will enjoy Jehro with his beautiful Caribbean//Spanish/reggae/alternative music (and did I mention he is French?) One good cd to chill to when you feel like you are trap in your cubicle at work.


Summer Movie: The Puffy Chair

Summer movies are usually all about the big blockbusters but if you're getting burnt out on the spectacle, turn to the Duplass brothers and their hilarious little movie, The Puffy Chair for a respite. A hit at Sundance and SXSW and shot with $15,000 lent to them by their parents (who also appear in the movie), Jay and Mark Duplass wrote, filmed, produced and for Mark, star in the film about a road trip with a purple barcalounger. The website for the film has tons of great content on it from short films and vlogs made by the brothers, to a plug in streaming the soundtrack which features choice songs by Death Cab For Cutie, Spoon, Matt Pond PA and Of Montreal. The movie opens today in New York and they're rolling it out city by city over the next few months, so be sure to check it out. You'll be able to say you knew these budding cinematic big wigs back when they were totally indie. Check out the movie soundtrack here.

After watching a short flim about Los Feliz which mentioned about house on Cielo Drive, I realized that they were referring to Sharon Tate’s house. The house that Manson family murdered man lives including Sharon Tate and her unborn baby boy.
