Since I am on a full movie mode. I will share with you guys the
list of "It" indie movie. Some of them I don't agree with but they are really close to what I am looking for.
The Chumscrubber
Last night I had a chance to watch this powerful dark drama which full of talented actors and actresses.
The Chumscrubber is moving slowly but smoothly and you don't really know what the next scene will be and how the movie is going to end. The movie is not the best choice for a faint of heart but If you want to sit through a good drama movie, I suggest this movie for a starter. The main character reminds so much of Donnie Darko. Well they both have depression, antidepressant drug problems, suburban families and selfish human being in their lifes. Jamie Bell from Billy Eliott did a great job of being the center of the story. He was a numb trouble young man who broke down opps.. I better stop now. Justin Chatwin is also one of a young stars that we need to keep our eyes on. I noticed him for the first time on Showtime Original drama series Weed. I am sure he will have more and more great roles in the future.
Vers Le SudVers Le Sud. My friend just told me about this movie this morning. This movie looks like it will be a great movie for girls night out!
RantsRyan Gosling. Need to say more. I can't wait to watch
Half Nelson.
Next couple months will be the time of my fall movie. I am no longer exciting or waiting for Summer movies to roll around anymore. I grow out of those big budget movies full of multants, super hero and animation. I am looking forward to see smaller budget films with a slight obscure or full blown obscure movies. Half Nelson, Vers Le Sud, Scoop, The Science of Sleep and Little Miss Sunshine are just some of the movies that I am patiently participate to see.
I hate a disaster movie but the
classic disaster movie just never seem to stop intriguing me. Too bad I have to try to win tickets ( which I am sure I would never win).
