Plastic Bags, Paper Bags or Compostable Bags which one do you prefer

Reading an article about the plastic bag issues here in Los Angeles and wonder why the state and the government are so slow at working on helping environmental issues? How long we have been knowing about the Global Warming issue? How long have we been introduced to Green House Effect? If each year at a time the government comes out with green law (my own slang), this will slowly help our Earth. If 10 years ago the government start encouraging recycling and encourage the decrease of plastic bags usage in California alone, we would not have an over plastic waste these days.

Again if we all come together and try to work on saving our environment, using less plastic products, reuse plastic bag and use canvas bag every time you visit drugstore, market for restaurant. This might look like it is not going to impact anything but keep in mind that everybody action counts. Also one thing that I can say is that, saving the world or becoming a vegan are so trendy right now, so why don't we keep these trends last forever so we can enjoy our mocha outdoor and be able to get into the ocean 10 years from now!
