We decided to take a mini trip to San Diego to get away from LA and work for a bit. We stayed at our usual Best Western Beach View Lodge in Carlsbad and had a great Friday night having bar foods and enjoying beer at this outdoor diner right by the beach and watch the Sun Set. We then went back to the hotel and stayed in hot tub for a bit. After that we walked to the town center and enjoyed outdoor jazz music along with hot cocoa and gossip magazine.
On Saturday we went to infamous San Diego Zoo and enjoy the company of cute and smelly animals. We had a great time there and got a little bit of sun burn. We also stopped by Carlsbad Outlet on the way back to the hotel. I did not find anything that I like except these purplish MAC lip gloss and eye shadow. I think I will be using them more often than I thought. For dinner we went to Cuban restaurant on 101 route call AZAFRAN. The food, the live music and the Sangria were great. We over estimated ourself and had left over food and could not even walk back to the car. It was sure a great dinner and we would go back there again.
Sunday night we got up early and headed out to Downtown San Diego Gas lamp District and watched RED BULL air race show right by San Diego Bay. It was a chilly day and the Sun seem to be hiding behind the cloud all day. We left the race at around 3 and had lunch right in downtown San diego at Maryjane's cafe and then we headed back to LA. When we got home, our bunny jumped with joy! we miss him a whole bunch!
